It's the one that uses less material to provide the same function (lightweighting). It's the one that considers the whole lifecycle—from resin storage to manufacturing to end-of-life.
Granted, this requires more upfront thinking. You can't just grab the cheapest roll of PE film and hope it works. You have to ask your supplier about their resin sourcing, their storage protocols, and their supply chain. But that's not a weakness—it's a sign of a mature industry. The fundamentals haven't changed: you need a durable, safe, cost-effective barrier for your product. But the execution is evolving. And that's a good thing.
